I have recently stayed twice at this hotel. Apart from being well located to Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express, the welcome is warm and the rooms clean and comfortable. My two stays were very good indeed and I would be happy to return if the need arose.

"Went Over & Beyond!"

I had a single room booked at your Paddington Mecure Hotel for the 20th August. When I came to reception I was told by the staff member who told me that the hotel was over booked. I was initially shocked at the news but she put me at ease when she told me that she had already arranged a room for me at the Mecure Hyde Park, which was still in walking distance to Paddington Station as I had an international flight the next day where I needed to take the Heathrow Express Train. She arranged an escort for me to take me to the other hotel and also arranged a free upgrade with a double sized bed.
This had to be the best experience ever from any Accor Hotels. She was courteous, polite, proactive, professional and a great brand ambassador for your Accor Brand. I have shared my experience to my family & friends and I have recommended them to use this hotel for any future bookings. I know when I will come to London next time that I will be coming back! I hope she gets the recognition as she deserves it!

The service at the reception and through everything relating the trip RUPINDTIR at the reception was very nice with us and helped us find a lot of touring sites and great places to get breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they also offer you a free cellphone so that you stay in touch or guide yourself through the city.

You must praise the hotel manager, Ms. Rupal Khanderia, who is the most popular of our travels in Europe. Her receptionist and the attendant are very responsible to assist the guests. Here is the location of traffic - flow convenient, breakfast rich and delicious, clean room, near the delicious restaurant, it is convenient, lived nearly 2 weeks, strong push, next time we Lei London, will certainly live here again. Thanks to Operations Manager, Ms Rupal Khanderia and all the Staffs !!

I stay at this hotel regularly because of work. The staff are all very friendly, some even know my name and the last time that i stayed they had checked in advance that I was staying and they upgraded my room and put a towel swan in the middle of the bed, seems daft but they make an effort.

I was very pleased of this hotel's services. The price-quality ratio was very good, even though its strongest point is its central position. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, especially Mr. Witek, who was one of the reasons i wanted to write this review.

Thank you for making my 2 day business meeting a breeze. There was no hassle and everything was sorted out the way I wanted it and when I wanted it. Witek was a diamond and looked after the meeting room and our food and drink requirements brilliantly - nothing was too much trouble. Many Thanks.

Hotel staff were welcoming and very friendly. Very stylish and modern rooms, lounge and bar. Bar was buzzing with very good service. The room was comfortable. The surrounding area is quiet but also a few minutes walk away from high street shops and restaurants.

"Comfortable and Convenient"

We had a very comfortable stay at the Mercure Paddington, although the room wasn't big it had all we needed. The location is great being so close to Paddington Station meant it was very easy to travel around London and to/from Heathrow Airport. There are lots of eating places close by also places to buy preprepared food.

The hotel is really cosy, and staff members are really kind. Just want to point out that Witek is a kind and funny staff member who always goes out of his way to help others. The house cleaning staff, who may get overlooked are really kind and always leave the rooms looking fresh and clean. Our stay here has been excellent, thank you!

"Excellent stay in a great location!"

Amazing location right next to Paddington Station. Arrived to welcoming staff and was given a room straight away. For a London hotel I was very impressed with the size of the room, especially given its central location. It was very clean and the decor had a luxurious feel. Only stayed a night but was all in all a very pleasant stay and I will definitely be back!!

"Very Pleasant Hotel in a Very Convenient Location"

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 June, 2017 on tripadvisor

We booked this hotel because it's right next to Paddington Station, where the Heathrow Express arrives. We were quite satisfied. We did not hear the trains or Tube at all; the closest to that experience was when we lay in bed, and put an ear into the pillow, we could feel the tiniest bit of rumble. The staff were friendly and helpful in the extreme. The room was big enough, understanding that European hotel rooms are a fraction of the size of American hotel rooms. We never used the iPhone that the hotel provided, probably because I had planned the trip to a fare-thee-well, including directions to every location we intended to visit. The room was clean; the plumbing worked; the water in the shower was hot and plentiful. We ate at Garfunkle's, the restaurant attached to the hotel, every morning of the entire 10 days we were there, and a couple of dinners as well. The food was fine, certainly good enough. The surrounding area is chockablock with restaurants, and all the ones we ate in were very good. There was an incredible quantity of Bureaus de Change nearby...I counted about a dozen within a two-block distance. There were nearby banks with ATMs. There was a line of taxis down the street (because of Paddington Station) that was very convenient, too. We used the tube the entire time in London; it couldn't have been more convenient. (Don't rely on Google Maps for directions that involve the tube; the tube part is fine but the directions at the destination leave a little to be desired. Rely on the directions that the attraction's website provide.) We would certainly stay there again.
