A great stay, which we will repeat in 2024
We have stayed in Mercure hotels before, all a bit quirky. This was the first time in London, also different and positive. Good location for transport, excellent room and helpful staff.

Room was nice and bed was comfy
Room was nice and cool. Needed it for Paddington Station so location was ideal. Problem with the system when booking in but the staff were amazing and dealt with it very professionally.
A comfortable short stay in a convenient location
Our room was smallish but very clean and comfortable - the facilities were great (coffee maker and complimentary drinks and snacks. Excellent location - convenient for the station. Staff were very helpful
Good Value
The location is excellent, specially for connection from and to Heathrow. Easy to get a ride thanks to the high traffic. The room was very generous by London standards and quiet, even though it faced the street.
Comfortable stay near Paddington Station
Its just next to Paddington Station. So if you plan to use the train a lot probably this is a goos place for you. There’s 2 Malaysian Restaurants nearby this hotel. So Malaysian wont miss home styled meals.
This hotel was perfect for us as we were taking thetaking the Heathrow excited the next day.

Excellent stay and would recommend!
Superb location right beside Paddington train station and the Underground via Elizabeth line. The hotel upgraded us to a suite and it was a good size for my son and I. There were several food options and McDonald's was just across the road. A bit pricey though but I suppose that is London hotel pricing. Overall, an excellent experience.
Very convenient located hotel in London city
I was entertained by a male receptionist ( I am sorry unable to remember his name) at around 10 am on 5 sept. He was extremely helpful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get early check in. The room was expected to be compact as it is in London city. Lots of constructions activities at the surrounding but I did not hear any noises during my stay from my room. It is within walking distance to PADDINGTON train station and Kesington park. There were lots of eateries nearby and it is get convenient. I will definitely stay here when I return to London next time.
Outstanding value for money and comfort next door to Paddington Station
Hotel is is an exceptional location next to Paddington Station. Given this, it was very reasonably priced. I did not have high expectations going in, but after going from the small lobby and lift to my room, I was astonished at how large and comfortable it was. There were lots of nice touches too like free chocolates and refreshments provided. Being used to tiny rooms at terrible prices, this was five star value. Breakfast was provided in an adjoining restaurant and provided a large choice. Overall, this is going to be a regular choice for me as a place to stay going forward. I would like to say an extra word too on the friendly and efficient staff. Overall - highly recommended.
